Job summary

ComNet Communications, LLC is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee planning, safety, execution and financial management of low voltage construction projects with an annual revenue around $2M.

In collaboration with Senior Project Managers and Team Lead, you’ll ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, provide PPE/safety training, attend kickoff meetings, manage change orders up to $100K, and deliver essential certification documentation.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.
• 2+ years college experience, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven success with construction cost management.
• Strong math skills and number aptitude.
• Experience running projects with values up to $500,000 and $2M yearly revenue.
• Able to prepare quotes for MAC requests from existing client base.
• Familiar with low voltage products.
• Capable of handling change orders independently up to $50K under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements including contractual, financial, technical, schedule, and scope of work.
• Manage profitable low voltage construction projects generating $2M in yearly revenue.
• Coordinate with Operations Team and Safety Manager for PPE and training.
• Attend project kickoff meetings to ensure readiness for start.
• Forecast and track labor and material costs throughout the project.
• Invoice projects quickly to maximize cash flow.
• Provide documentation including as-built drawings and certifications.
• Perform on-site inspections of local work locations.
• Submit change orders pricing for items outside approved scope up to $100K.
