Office Manager / HR Generalist
  • Location: Dover, NJ
  • Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5pm
  • Salary: $65,000/annually

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related role.
  • Educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Familiarity with core HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — approachable, empathetic, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; able to learn new systems quickly.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working in a startup or small company setting.
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience working with HR platforms or PEOs (e.g., Justworks, Gusto, TriNet, BambooHR).
  • Exposure to culture-building initiatives such as engagement surveys, performance reviews, or DEI programs.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.

Compensation / Pay Rate: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Per Year
