WDWNT is seeking a multi-talented Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to oversee all aspects of our offices, studio, museum, and online store.

Description

Duties will include:

  • Administrative duties including scheduling meetings, coordinating staff activities, working with vendors, coordinating recruitment and hiring, running payroll, etc.
  • Office Manager duties including maintaining a clean and well-supplied office environment, working with landlords and maintenance personnel, office security, etc.
  • Executive Assistant tasks including making calls, sending emails, and maintaining a calendar on behalf of the CEO, booking travel, etc.
  • Production Assistant responsibilities including scheduling on-air talent, creating props and other items for production use, writing scripts, etc.

Specifically, you will be expected to:

  • Ensure an optimal guest experience for our in-studio shows, including greeting guests, checking tickets, stocking snacks and beverages, etc. This also requires maintaining a clean office, museum, and studio, including janitorial tasks like bathroom cleaning and emptying trash as needed.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment for our online store, including order picking, packing, and shipping, as well as handling customer service inquiries regarding pending orders.
  • Be responsible for making props and set pieces for our in-studio shows, including craft work and light construction.
  • Assist the CEO with scheduling of meetings, travel, events, etc.
  • Organization, cataloging, and curation of our vast collection of theme park memorabilia for our museum.
  • Assist with show preparation including writing scripts for news segments.

A strong knowledge of and familiarity with the Walt Disney World Resort is required.

Previous experience in most or all of the above areas is strongly preferred.

A successful candidate will:

  • Be self-motivated, and willing and able take on assignments with minimal direction
  • Possess excellent writing and communication skills
  • Be extremely comfortable and personable interacting with staff, guests, vendors, and others
  • Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactively recognize needs of the company and the staff and respond quickly to meet those needs

This position is based at our office and studio at 1136 Celebration Blvd., Celebration FL, and requires up to 30 hours per week, with minimum availability as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 am - 3 pm
  • Thursday: 12 pm - 9 pm
  • Occasional weekends are required when we host events in our studio (no more than 4 weekends per year)

Compensation is commensurate with experience, with $18 per hour as a minimum.
