Office Manager

Position Type: Full Time

Location: North Plainfield, NJ

Salary: $70-85k

Description: We are a 20+ year old hi-tech international company specializing in Optical Design and Engineering Services and OEM manufacturing in the Photonics industry. We provide quality world-class custom optical solutions to our clients. To be considered for this position, you must have at least 7 years of office supervisor or manager experience with a willingness to learn and take charge along with a can-do attitude. You will be required to learn the industry along with our process flow and assist with managing and coordinating office projects and daily tasks. The individual will need to collaborate with our Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams on all issues. You will need to be hands-on and also be able to take control and lead projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage, lead, and coordinate office projects.
  2. Help provide feedback and assist in developing, planning, and layout of marketing campaigns and materials (online, electronic, video, and print).
  3. Collaborate with the sales team and engineering team when needed on all issues.
  4. Monitor, review, and report on all office issues.
  5. Data analysis and preparation of reports for customers, sales, marketing, etc.
  6. Assist in various office tasks when called upon.

Requirements:
  1. Must be able to take charge and lead the team on all issues.
  2. Must be detail-oriented along with exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
  3. Must be able to manage time and prioritize tasks and projects, knowing when issues need to be escalated.
  4. Must be able and willing to learn relevant product and industry knowledge.
  5. Proven experience in a B2B environment.
  6. Experience with relevant software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce a plus).

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Work Hours: 9am – 6pm, M-F
