Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its New York office, as well as its satellite offices in Florida and Puerto Rico. This full-time, direct hire role will sit on-site at their New York office.

The Office Manager will help maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming work environment for all employees and visitors by focusing on the operational efficiency and collective interests of the firm.

This position entails a comprehensive set of responsibilities that span across office and facilities management, administrative support, reception, and project management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience working as an Office Manager or a similar role.
  • Experience within financial services or a similar corporate environment is highly preferred.
  • Must have office buildout experience.
  • Proficiency in Workday, Tactic, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience with a track record of ensuring operational efficiency, functionality and maintaining a professional and pristine office environment with minimal oversight.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish (i.e., provide status updates, timely completion of projects, and working within budgets).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills – ability to analyze situations, identify problems and develop effective solutions to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Effectively prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
