Job summary

Clarvida in Metairie, LA is seeking an Office Manager to be the first point of contact and ensure a welcoming, professional environment. You will coordinate communications, scheduling, and daily administrative functions to support staff and operations.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong organizational and customer-service skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, consumers, and incoming communications
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and relay information to appropriate staff members
  • Coordinate office communications and support efficient information flow throughout the agency
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as needed
  • Assist staff with clerical duties and administrative support tasks
  • Maintain office organization, supplies, and general administrative functions
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain files, records, and office documentation
  • Support day-to-day office operations to ensure a professional and efficient work environment
  • Assist with data entry, correspondence, reports, and other administrative projects
  • Provide excellent customer service to consumers, families, staff, and community partners

About The Role

The Office Manager serves as the first point of contact and creates a positive, professional first impression for consumers, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for ensuring the office operates efficiently by coordinating communications, scheduling appointments, managing administrative functions, and supporting daily office operations. Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field
  • Extensive office management experience may be considered in lieu of higher education
