About Purposeful Design
At Purposeful Design, we transform lives by providing meaningful employment to men overcoming homelessness, addiction, incarceration, and broken relationships. Through our handcrafted furniture business, we teach valuable woodworking and life skills while offering exposure to faith. As a sustainable non-profit, our commercial furniture sales generate 85% of our operating costs, allowing us to continue rebuilding lives from hopelessness to promise.
Role Overview
We're looking for an Office Manager & Delivery Coordinator who will keep our operations running smoothly while helping fulfill our mission. This is an in-person position based at our Indianapolis facility. You'll report to both our VP of Production and CFO, serving as a critical link between our customer-facing operations and internal administration. This role gives you the chance to directly support both our business operations and the men in our Transitional Employment Program. You'll be the person who ensures our beautiful furniture reaches its destination while helping maintain the supportive environment that makes our work possible.
What You'll Do
Plan and oversee furniture deliveries from project kick-off through installation
Oversee building maintenance, security, and facilities management
Participate in our Transitional Employment Program, helping men rebuild their lives

This position requires daily in-person presence at our Indianapolis facility. Regular on-site attendance is essential for coordinating deliveries, managing office operations, and supporting our mission through direct interaction with our team members and program participants.
