Job summary

Qualifications

  • Two years of college or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years supervising and/or directing teams preferred.
  • 1–2 years of general office experience, preferably in moving/logistics industries.

  • Monitor finals, SIT processes, and update branch and corporate reports.
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities, collections, and setup of new accounts.
  • Manage petty cash and packing material sales.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper scanning and recordkeeping.

The Role At a Glance

The Office Manager oversees branch administrative operations, supervising and training staff while ensuring daily office functions run smoothly. This role partners with branch leadership and serves as an HR liaison, supporting onboarding, timekeeping, and employee relations. Responsibilities include coordinating office events, managing supplies, processing invoices and billing, overseeing revenue and accounts receivable activities, and collaborating cross-functionally. Success requires strong organization, communication, integrity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.


How You’ll Contribute

You will oversee all administrative operations for the branch, supervising and training administrative staff while distributing workloads to ensure daily operations run smoothly. As a key member of the branch management team, you will work closely with the Branch General Manager and Director of Operations, serve as the branch HR liaison, support onboarding, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and assist with employee relations and conflict resolution.


You will support day-to-day branch operations by auditing employee timesheets, monitoring PTO balances, coordinating office events and lunches, and managing office supply inventory, uniforms, equipment, and outbound shipments. You will also assist with branch facilities management and collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Sales Support, Corporate teams, and Accounting to support staffing, succession planning, and associate programs.


You will manage branch billing and revenue processes by generating, receiving, auditing, and submitting vendor invoices and paperwork. Your responsibilities include posting and verifying branch revenue, rating shipments, auditing WPS paperwork, monitoring finals, updating reports, managing SIT processes, petty cash, and packing material sales, and ensuring all documentation is properly scanned and recorded in required systems.

Qualifications and Skills

Education/Work Experience



  • Two years of college and/or equivalent experience.

  • One to two years of general office experience, preferably in the moving and storage, commercial or logistics industries.

  • One to three years of supervising and/or directing teams preferred.
