Job description

StableStrides is a nonprofit equine-assisted services organization whose mission is to significantly improve lives through a connection with horses. We are a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center and the oldest center of our kind in Southern Colorado. We are seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Office Manager to help keep our nonprofit operations running smoothly. This person will support office administration, participant and volunteer coordination, financial and donor recordkeeping, technology and facility logistics, and the many behind-the-scenes details that enable our equine-assisted programs to serve children, teens, adults, veterans, and families.

The successful candidate will be warm, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing many responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Experience in nonprofit administration, bookkeeping, CRM or donor database management, volunteer coordination, and/or program administration is strongly preferred. Comfort working in an equine or ranch setting is helpful, though horse experience is not required.

Position: Full-time, non-exempt, Monday–Friday with occasional evenings/weekends for events; reports to Executive Director.

Hourly Wages: $20-$30/hour, depending on qualifications, with optional medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, as well as paid holidays and PTO.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, calendars, email, and document management, preferred experience with QuickBooks Online and Salesforce

  • Comfort learning and using databases, CRM systems, accounting platforms, scheduling tools, and online collaboration systems

  • Ability to work independently, use sound judgement, anticipate needs, and follow through consistently

  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site during scheduled hours
