Job summary

Smosh is seeking an IT Manager to support its creative and technical teams by managing and maintaining IT equipment and ensuring operational readiness for on-site operations.

The role reports to the Director of IT and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver seamless technical support, with a focus on office and on-site operations. Experience in network admin, MacOS/Windows, and cybersecurity is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of client/server technology, network architecture, systems administration, and IT operations best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of IT equipment, including MacOS and Windows operating systems, and Google Workspace management.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, prioritize competing needs, and manage multiple tasks.
• Passion for information technology and staying current with industry trends.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across departments and stakeholders.
• Co-administer company-wide softwares and services, including security systems, post production softwares, and data storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Help design, implement, and maintain specialized AV over Network systems that integrate IT and Production infrastructure.
• Reinforce cybersecurity protocols and co-manage disaster recovery systems.
• Complete routine data backups and ensure data integrity.
• Co-administer company-wide software and services, including security systems and data storage.
