Job summary

H&R Block in Austin seeks an Office Manager to lead the rollout of a new client experience model. You will coach frontline leaders, develop associates, and ensure disciplined execution of client-centric standards.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, recruit seasonal staff, and maintain strong on-site leadership presence while guiding teams through change and process adoption to deliver consistent results for clients and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and related work experience
• Experience leading people in retail, service, or multi-unit settings
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning and day-to-day decisions
• Strong client-centric mindset with leadership and execution focus
• Experience guiding teams through change and adoption of new processes

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery and evolution of the consultative client experience within assigned offices
• Lead teams through adoption of new operating processes and coaching
• Identify patterns in behaviors to coach teams and address execution gaps
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact through leadership behaviors
• Ensure new client experience processes and tests are implemented to standards
• Conduct client interviews to gather feedback and translate insights into action
• Lead and develop associate performance through coaching and clear expectations
• Strategically plan and adjust execution to ensure quality and alignment
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding decisions for readiness
• Maintain seasonal workforce readiness in partnership with leadership
