Summary
The Office Coordinator meets administrative and secretarial requirements for department management.
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: M-F Days. Onsite for Quality Services.
Responsibilities
- Meets administrative and secretarial requirements of the office.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly office environment.
- Monitors safe and reliable functioning of office equipment and facility.
- Trains and oversees the work of clerical staff in all functional areas.
- Communicates with other offices, hospital departments, and outside agencies.
- Researches appointment, scheduling, billing and customer service problems for patients/families.
- Works to develop systems/procedures to help the office run more efficiently.
- Other duties as required.
Technical Expertise
- Experience with maintaining confidential information is required.
- Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Electronic Medical Record software and scheduling software is preferred.
Education And Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's degree is preferred.
- Certification: None.
- Years of relevant experience: 3 years.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
