Office Coordinator
Kendale Lakes, FL 33175 | In-Person | $16.50/hr | Full-Time
A well established and growing nonprofit organization with a strong track record serving the local community is hiring an Administrative Assistant to join a team that cares about their people and the population they serve.
What You'll Do:
- Schedule client appointments and provide administrative and clerical support to the department
- Screen client referrals to determine next steps and appropriate processing
- Record client activity, appointments, and updates in scheduling software and databases
- Generate, print, and mail correspondence and contact letters
- Support program staff by answering inquiries and guiding clients through processes
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and email correspondence
- Maintain organized departmental records including filing, scanning, and archiving
What You Bring:
- Associate degree, or high school diploma plus 2+ years of administrative experience (human services setting a plus)
- Comfortable managing multiple phone lines professionally
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
- Minimum 35 WPM typing with strong grammar and spelling
- Patient, professional phone presence, including with callers who may be confused or hard of hearing
