Schedule
  • Full-time: M-F 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (w/ 30 min. Lunch) = 35 hrs./week
  • Library: 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
  • Office: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Rate of Pay

$12.00 per hour

Qualifications
  • Post high school secretarial education and experience preferred.
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Suite
  • Accurate, efficient typing skills (70 WPM suggested). Ability to perform tasks accurately amidst interruptions.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills for clerical and daily tasks.
  • Ability to schedule appointments, meetings, and interviews effectively.
  • Experience in preparing and processing records, reports, and documents.
  • Polite, effective telephone and receptionist communication skills.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment with high expectations.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and aligned with district performance standards.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment operation.
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, responsible, professional, flexible, and mature judgment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage circulation, organization, and storage of library materials and equipment.
  • Maintain and repair library materials and equipment.
  • Conduct inventories of library materials and equipment.
  • Open and close the library.
  • Assist staff and students.
  • Implement overdue notification processes.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, work orders, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources.
  • Collect and locate library materials for teachers.
  • Keep the library organized and seasonally decorated.
  • Promote reading through displays and activities.
  • Support the school secretary and main office operations.
  • Operate the main office during lunch hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
