Title Information
Under general supervision, the Office Administrator is responsiblefor the coordination, implementation, and management of activitiesrelated to the achievement of effective operations of COPHS Dean’soffice.
Essential Duties Summary
- Collaborates, coordinates, communicates, and liaises with multiple COPHS programs’ faculty, students and staff, affiliate institutions, and community partners.
- Provides administrative support for the COPHS Dean and oversees some daily administrative and business operations of the department including liaising with other departments as needed to ensure that all work meets deadlines and standards for quality and accuracy, and organizing and holding periodic meetings with alumni.
- Organizes, coordinates, and completes Dean’s office operations and procedures such as tracking documentation process, personnel information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, travel and other administrative services.
- Assists in business planning, market research, and promotion of the college. Development of business opportunities, preparation of the procurement expense reports. Prepares evaluation reports and tracks expenses incurred for the program.
- This individual must possess the ability to work autonomously, when required, using high level organizational, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education
Preferred: Bachelors preferred.
Required Licensing/Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Policies, procedures, and current interprofessional education and collaboration practices.
- Knowledge of basic office and financial and procedures.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications; mailmergers, database management, cloud-based platforms, and various videoconferencing platforms as required.
Skill in:
- Both verbal and written communication.
- Problem-solving and decision making.
- Being detailed oriented.
- Multitasking and time management.
Ability to:
- Work autonomously using high-level organizational, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

- Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.
Work Experience
Required:
- 5+ years in a higher education setting and/or administrative role. Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.
Working/Environmental Conditions
Limited standing and/or walking.
Handling light weight objects.
Using or carrying equipment.
Stoop, bend, or lift.
