Description
The Office and HR Administrator has a unique role within the Mission Critical Group Solutions organization. An integral part of the day-to-day support that helps ensure our company’s success, you will serve as both onsite HR support and oversee all aspects of office administration.
Responsibilities
Office Administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
- Oversee office supply inventory, ordering, and distribution.
- Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures.
- Manage mail services (USPS, FedEx, UPS).
- Manage vendor relationships for office services and supplies.
- Coordinate office calendar, meetings, logistics, and meeting spaces.
- Organize onsite hospitality, lunches, and special events.
- Plan and coordinate company events, staff meetings, and town halls.
- Provide administrative support to leadership, including document prep, correspondence, and data entry.
- Maintain confidential records, client info, and internal contacts.
- Keep employee directory updated.
- Arrange travel for staff, including flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Perform occasional errands like banking and postal runs.
HR Administration
- Support employee lifecycle processes and onboarding.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Managers for onsite interviews.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, IT setup, and security.
- Welcome new hires and assist with orientation.
- Handle level one HR inquiries on policies, payroll, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR team for escalated issues.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and events.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of HR support or Office Administration experience.
- Experience in event coordination, scheduling, or travel management preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Office setting with visits to production floor.
