Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of experience in management, administration, legal, paralegal, or offender records.

Responsibilities

• Leading a section of up to 10 staff and guiding their daily work.
• Entering and auditing complex sentences for felony convictions.
• Reviewing and approving inmate releases.
• Interpreting and applying policy, statutes and regulations.
• Planning and conducting training for the Offender Information Services section and other staff.
• Lost? Acting as a liaison between Departmental staff and Offender Information Services.
• Responding to correspondence from offenders and agencies.
• Maintaining confidential files and records.
• Cross training with other sections to strengthen the team environment.
