Job summary

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking qualified professionals to classify Persons in our Care at multiple facilities within the Division of Adult Institutions and the Wisconsin Resource Center.

Specialists will be trained to competency in the duties and responsibilities, with mentoring by a BOCM Supervisor or an assigned OCS-Senior. Decisions with serious consequences require supervisor approval, and a probationary period applies.

Qualifications

• Training, education and/or experience with case planning, case management and case documentation.
• Training, education, and/or experience using risk and/or needs assessment tools.
• Training, education and/or experience in interview techniques (e.g. motivational interviewing).
• Experience preparing and writing case summaries or professional reports.
