Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for 2nd and 3rd shifts at a Tier 1 automotive stamping facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role oversees multiple production lines, ensures safety, quality, and productivity, and leads teams to meet aggressive production schedules.

Ideal candidates have prior supervision in automotive manufacturing, knowledge of KPIs, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while managing attendance and shift performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred, Tier 1.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in high-volume plants.
• Background in metal stamping or heavy fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production across multiple lines on 2nd/3rd shift.
• Train and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and equipment performance to meet demand.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Monitor KPIs like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and discipline.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and quality.
• Communicate updates to plant leadership.
