Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role focuses on leading multiple lines during 2nd or 3rd shift, driving safety, quality, and productivity in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has deep automotive manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coach teams to meet production goals while maintaining rigorous standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred, especially Tier 1.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in high-volume setting.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components desired.
• Union environment experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production challenges and make quick decisions.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Lead, train, and develop production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and equipment performance to meet customer demands.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track production metrics such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
