Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisor for a Tier 1 automotive facility in Elizabethtown, KY. You will lead multiple lines on 2nd/3rd shifts, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and coach teams to meet demanding production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to keep production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred, especially Tier 1 suppliers.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in high-volume settings.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components is desirable.
• Experience in a union environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Lead, train, and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and equipment performance to satisfy customer demands.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track metrics such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
