Job summary

Amcor Packaging is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise off-shift plant operations, lead teams, and ensure safety and quality across the production area. The role requires extensive printing industry experience and proven leadership skills to drive performance and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities include operating presses, guiding team development, and ensuring timely completion of production schedules while adhering to company policies and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or GED) with 10 years in printing industry and 5 years of proven leadership experience.
• Experience coaching, leading and coordinating team activities in problem solving, communications, meetings, skill assessments, team development and employee relations.
• Safety and mathematical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations during off-shifts following all company policies, procedures and standards.
• Lead teams to improve performance and ensure quality through effective communication and training.
• Ensure ISO 9001-2000 standards and quality objectives are met and maintain quality documentation.
• Maintain environmental, health and safety practices and ensure compliance across the production area.
• Operate and troubleshoot presses to maximize efficiency and quality, coordinate make-ready.
• Conduct employee evaluations and ensure accurate timekeeping and documentation.
