Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; MSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of bedside, acute care nursing experience.
• Leadership experience in nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise bedside nurses and staff; manage staffing plans to meet productivity goals.
• Coordinate human and non-human resources to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Oversee patient flow and bed status; coordinate transfers from ED, OR and other facilities.
• Lead daily bed and safety huddles to communicate status and safety concerns on the off shift.
