Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for Off-Shift Operations at CHA Cambridge Hospital to lead nursing services on site during their shift and oversee multiple campus operations. You will coordinate admissions/transfers, supervise nursing staff, and work with other CHA Nurse Managers to maintain high standards of patient care.

The role requires MA RN licensure, BSN (MS preferred), 3–5 years of clinical nursing and 3–5 years of progressive management experience, along

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• BSN is required; MSN is preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive management experience.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• IV certification competency.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing departments during off-shift and weekend hours.
• Coordinate patient placement and admissions/transfers.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality patient care across campus.
• Liaise with Nurse Managers at other CHA campuses.
• Interpret department policies and address concerns.
• Generate reports to ensure effective communication.
