Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an Off-Shift Nurse Manager to ensure patient-focused care according to hospital policies. Responsibilities include supervising nursing care during off-shifts, managing resources, and leading staff. The Off-Shift Nurse Manager is a professional nurse who functions as both an administrative and clinical leader to ensure patient‑focused care consistent with the hospital mission, department goals, policies, protocols & procedures, regulatory requirements, and established standards of practice. The primary responsibilities include the coordination, direct supervision, and evaluation of personnel and nursing care, as well as management of fiscal and other resources during off‑shifts, weekends and holidays.

Schedule: 24 Hours, Evenings, Every 3rd Weekend 7a - 7p
Requires graduation from an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; MSN preferred. (Current BMC employees with demonstrated commitment and subject area expertise may be considered with an Associates in Nursing with approval).
Demonstrated expertise in recent clinical nursing practice with 3–5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience. Previous management ability preferred.
$46.88–$68.03 per hour. This estimate reflects the minimum qualifications; final pay considers education, experience, skills, and certifications.
