Job summary

Union Beer Distributors seeks a driven sales professional to expand beer distribution and manage key accounts across Queens and Brooklyn. You’ll promote world-class brands, build strong retailer relationships, and drive growth with proactive merchandising and timely communication.

Requirements include high school or higher, strong English skills, and a valid NY driver’s license. Flexible hours, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for advancement are offered by the Sheehan Family

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations.
• Passion for beer with strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid NYS driver’s license; own or access to a car (territory-dependent).
• Some industry experience preferred but not required.
• Capacity to bend and lift heavy objects regularly.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Comfort with technology.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain solicitors license.
• Flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote company goodwill.
• Represent brands in a dynamic market.
• Grow brand presence within existing accounts and new opportunities.
• Merchandise accounts with permanent and paper POS.
• Manage accounts receivable in compliance with state law.
• Develop new accounts and expand distribution points.
• Handle inquiries on credit, delivery, product information, etc.
• Execute monthly and quarterly priorities for business activities.
• Build relationships with account personnel and supplier teams.
