Job summary

Union Beer Distributors, a division of the Sheehan Family Companies, is seeking an entry-level Off-Premise Sales Representative to help grow our diverse beer portfolio in New York City. You will build relationships with existing and new off-premise accounts and drive distribution across Brooklyn in a fast-paced market.

The role demands a degree or equivalent experience, a Certified Beer Server badge, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certified Beer Server certification required or preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance.
• Must have access to personal vehicle and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a regular weekly schedule of account appointments in Brooklyn.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Off-Premise accounts and promote the brand.
• Represent Union Beer Distributors' brands in the market.
• Grow brand presence in bar, restaurant, and hospitality accounts.
• Merchandise accounts with permanent and paper POS materials.
• Assist with collections according to State Law.
• Develop new accounts and expand distribution.
• Handle inquiries on credit, delivery, and product information.
• Support achievement of monthly and quarterly goals.

Union Beer Distributors is currently seeking an entry-level Off-Premise Sales Representatives to join our team. As a representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to sell, promote, and contribute to the growth of our expansive portfolio in the fast-paced, highly competitive, and demanding market of New York City. Domestic Craft Beerwill be your main focus along with a multitude of microbrew beers from around the world. Hired candidates will be responsible for forming relationships with our existing Off-Premise accounts, developing relationships with new Off-Premise accounts, and leveraging those relationships to increase sales and distribution of our products throughout the assigned geography.This position will cover the territory of Brooklyn.

Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

What you will be doing:

• Establish and maintain a regular weekly schedule of account appointments within the assigned territory
• Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company
• Represent our world-class brands in the market
• Grow brand presence within our existing bar, restaurant, and hospitality account base
• Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS
• Effective accounts receivable collections according to State Law
• Develop new accounts and new distribution
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other questions as they arise
• Execute monthly and quarterly goals as related to business activities
• Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed:

• Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Certified Beer Server
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance
• Must have access to personal vehicle
• Ability and willingness to work independently
