Job summary

SANY America is seeking an engineer to design, develop and validate mining loader systems for demanding off-highway applications. The role collaborates with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and field teams to deliver reliable and competitive equipment.

With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to invest and grow; the role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years of sheet metal design, strong 3D CAD skills, and PPAP/tolerance analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of sheet metal/exterior enclosure design for vehicles or equipment.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD, sheet metal, tolerance stack-ups, vibration/noise reduction, prototype build and PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D designs, drawings and mounting interfaces for exterior sheet-metal panels.
• Reduce resonance, shaking and noise; validate fit, clearance and manufacturability.
• Resolve prototype defects and coordinate supplier sample validation, PPAP and design updates.
