Job summary

SANY America is seeking an engineer to design, develop, and validate mining loader electrical systems for demanding off-highway applications. The role collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and field teams to deliver reliable equipment.

The position offers opportunities to influence product launches, reliability improvements, and ongoing cost competitiveness while working in a diverse team across technical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in low-voltage vehicle electrical system design.
• Experience with CAN networks, grounding, EMC, and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Design low-voltage electrical architectures, schematics, wiring harnesses and component specifications.
• Create grounding, shielding and CAN signal requirements and maintain accurate BOMs.
• Troubleshoot validation issues and complete reliability and FMEA improvements for harsh operating conditions.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and support product launch and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear engineering documentation and follow applicable product safety, quality, and company standards.
