Job summary

SANY America is seeking a Work Equipment Design Engineer – Mining Loaders to design, develop and validate mining loader systems for demanding off-highway applications. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and field personnel to deliver reliable equipment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree and 3+ years of heavy equipment design experience, with proficiency in 3D CAD, kinematics and DFx practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience for heavy equipment or mobile machinery.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD, boom/bucket kinematics, drawings, BOMs, design for manufacturing and prototype testing.

Responsibilities

• Design boom, bucket and loader work equipment using 3D CAD and motion/kinematic simulation.
• Prepare drawings, bills of materials and manufacturing documentation.
• Support prototype builds, testing and field-failure feedback to improve design durability.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and support product launch and continuous improvement.
