DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Off Field Operations to support critical store processes and ensure the store is athlete-ready. You’ll contribute to inventory accuracy, fulfillment, and operational execution on the floor and behind the scenes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, precision, and strong execution in a dynamic retail environment, with focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide accurate information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset; ensures products are ready for athletes to purchase and engaged when, where, and how they want.
• Upholds company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc.
• Promotes and drives customer participation in company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Creates a store environment where everyone is welcomed and treated with respect, adhering to safety, loss prevention and SOPs, as well as external laws/guidelines.
