Job summary

The Judge Group in Shelbyville, TN is seeking an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to serve as the primary customer-facing quality representative for Nissan and other OEMs. This onsite, direct-hire role manages customer quality concerns, leads root cause investigations, coordinates CAPA, and acts as a liaison between OEM customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10+ years of automotive quality engineering experience.
• Experience managing OEM customer quality issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer quality contact for Nissan and other OEM customers.
• Manage customer complaints, quality concerns, and warranty issues from notification to resolution.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and other root-cause methods.
• Coordinate containment activities and implement CAPA.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
