Job summary

MSC Industrial Direct Co.,Inc. in Warminster, PA is seeking an Inventory Management Solution Consultant (IMSC-OEM) to enable explosive revenue growth through OEM opportunities, discovery, and installation oversight.

You will work with OEM product lines such as VMI, CribMaster, Kanban, Lean 5S, and collaborate with Sales to obtain signed agreements. Travel up to 75% required; Bachelor’s degree in business and 5+ years of customer service preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum five years of customer service experience.
• Minimum three years supporting value-added customer solutions / inventory management / OEM programs.
• Knowledge of OEM product lines/services required.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enables explosive sales growth by properly managing new solution opportunities from discovery through installation oversight.
• Proficient with OEM inventory management solutions including vending, VMI, CribMaster, etc.
• Partner with stakeholders to meet customer needs through data collection and relationship building.
• Conduct detailed discovery on customer needs including data collection, process improvement, and cost savings.
• Ensure recommended solutions address specific customer needs and provide financial assumptions.
