Job summary

Volt is seeking a Customer Engineer in Columbus, IN with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on installation quality assurance, OEM integration, and guiding product selection to enable high-quality decisions.

You will collaborate with SMEs, VPI teams, and application engineers to ensure accurate product data and installation requirements are met, translating customer needs into actionable product requirements.

Qualifications

Experience with Customer/Field Engineering and OEM integration.
Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
Strong product, application, and market knowledge.
Experience with installation data, project documentation, and NPIs.
Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Assists installation quality assurance and OEM integration activities.
Negotiates with SMEs and VPI teams to deliver product data and requirements.
Decides on product selection and design impacting OEM performance.
Serves as liaison to deliver technical information and resolve installation issues.
Translates voice of the customer into functional product requirements.
