Job summary

Global Business Ser. 4u is seeking an OBD Validation Engineer in Columbus, IN for a 1-3 year contract. The role covers hybrid vehicle work, calibration development, and CAN diagnostics.

50% hands-on vehicle work with bench simulations and PID controller tuning to validate features and tune performance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, with knowledge of OBD diagnostics and controller tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with IC engine operation (Diesel) and governing.
• OBD and NDFL diagnostics experience.
• Feature tuning and troubleshooting experience.
• Calibration development experience.
• Validation support experience.

Responsibilities

• Hybrid role with 50% hands-on vehicle work, supporting controllers and vehicle systems.
• Bench simulations and tuning of vehicle parameters.
• Troubleshooting CAN, PID controllers, and acceleration-based control systems.
