Job summary

SVP Worldwide is seeking a Systems Engineer, OEM Products in Nashville, TN, to act as the technical lead for OEM projects across the SVP brands. The role involves shaping system requirements, coordinating with OEM partners, and ensuring delivered hardware and firmware meet SVP’s standards.

Based in Nashville with a hybrid schedule, you will collaborate with Test & Quality to verify designs, and work with global teams to drive projects from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical/electronics, mechatronics, or related field.
• 5–8 years in new product development with electromechanical consumer/commercial products.
• Experience defining product requirements and evaluating supplier test data.
• Experience with overseas suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the system and test requirements that OEM partners build to, translating product intent and user needs into clear specifications.
• Define subsystem and interface requirements (mechanical, electronics, firmware) and how the OEM product integrates with the SVP platform.
• Maintain requirement traceability and ensure specifications reflect cost, feasibility, and manufacturability targets, collaborating with the Product Manager.
• Participate in early evaluation of candidate OEM suppliers and their existing donor products, assessing fit against SVP's requirements.
