Job summary

Canonical is a pioneer in open source software and hosts a fast-moving Organisational Development track. The role places you inside a real team, diagnosing health and management effectiveness, then driving concrete improvements with a senior practitioner guiding you.

You will support managers with 360 feedback and help build a scalable playbook that the function uses across the business. We hire for potential and coachability, valuing academic excellence and a drive to learn.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading and delivering change.
• Interest in developing people and organisations.
• Drive to learn and be coached to grow fast.
• Ability to discuss change confidently with senior practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Be embedded inside a real team and surface what works and what doesn’t.
• Run diagnostics on team health and management effectiveness (engagement, 360, feedback).
• Own end-to-end improvement: design, drive, and land concrete changes.
• Help managers deliver effective 360 feedback and turn it into commitments.
• Help build the playbook: standards, tools and shared language for the function.
