Job summary

Canonical is seeking an Organisational Development Associate to join a globally distributed team. You will work inside real teams, diagnose health and management effectiveness, and drive concrete improvements with senior practitioners guiding you.

A focus on developing people, coaching, and organisational work is core to the role. You will gain exposure to 360 feedback, playbook development, and cross-functional collaboration while traveling up to four times per year for internal events.

Qualifications

• Academic excellence from high school and university.
• Grounding in organisational psychology or related field.
• Experience shaping change in teams or student groups.

Responsibilities

• Embed in a real team to surface what is and isn’t working.
• Run diagnostics on team health and management effectiveness (engagement, 360, feedback).
• Own end-to-end improvements with a senior practitioner guidance.
• Support managers with 360 feedback and turn insights into commitments.
• Help build a shared playbook, standards, and common language.
• Learn coaching and organisational development from senior practitioners.
