Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Outside Counsel Guidelines Attorney to manage the risk and terms of engagement across the firm’s client matters. You will serve as a subject matter expert on OCG processes, perform initial term reviews, and coordinate with internal teams to negotiate and finalize engagement terms.

The role requires a JD and an active license, with at least two years in a law firm or in-house setting. A hybrid US-based work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Intapp Terms preferred.
• Active law license in good standing in state where practicing.
• JD required. 2+ years in a law firm or in-house legal dept. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial review of engagement terms and negotiate modifications with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain OCG playbooks and tracking systems; ensure consistency with existing terms.
• Identify risk areas in engagement terms and coordinate feedback from Finance, IT, HR, and other teams.
• Serve as Intapp subject matter expert for accurate tagging of terms.
