Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking a friendly and service-driven Server Assistant to support the ULU Ocean Grill team on Hawai‘i Island. Join us in delivering warm, personalized hospitality in a fast-paced oceanfront setting, with focus on teamwork, accuracy, and memorable guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3–12 months of restaurant or related experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• TB clearance card required by Hawaii DOH for food and beverage work.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service experience preferred.
• Three to twelve months of related experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to safely carry trays and transport items.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support Restaurant Servers with attentive, anticipatory service throughout the guest dining experience.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally while delivering personalized hospitality.
• Describe menu selections and presentations when serving food and beverages.
• Assist with food delivery from the kitchen and ensure accurate presentation.
• Stock and maintain linens, china, silverware, glassware, and service stations to Four Seasons standards.
• Prepare condiments, garnishes, and mise en place for service.
• Reset and clean dining areas during service.
• Assist with buffet, station, and dining room setup and breakdown.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests while building connections.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
