The Harrison Group is seeking a dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our Oceanfront Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach – North Beach and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. You will drive guest services, manage budgets, and ensure smooth daily activities across front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and events for a 238-room resort.

This role requires proven hospitality leadership, expertise in PMS and revenue management, and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Minimum three years in hotel industry with supervisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of front desk, night audit, and resort operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with PMS and reservation systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services including 3 outlets, group sales, and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Lead and supervise hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
• Manage hotel budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial operations to meet organizational goals.
• Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and operational efficiency.
• Develop strategies for revenue enhancement through effective pricing, marketing initiatives, and occupancy optimization.
• Coordinate human resources activities such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
• Maintain strong guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring all guest interactions reflect the highest standards of hospitality.
• Monitor hotel safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead crisis management efforts when necessary, including handling emergencies or unexpected operational challenges with calm confidence.
