Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Cook 2 for the Tulu Seaside Bar & Grill at the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. You will prepare food to consistent quality, follow recipes, and assist in kitchen operations on a busy seaside station.

Responsibilities include starting prep, checking stock and temps, maintaining equipment, and supporting buffet setup while collaborating with servers and teammates to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery and handle heavy items.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start prep and rotate perishables, check stock and pars.
• Operate fryer, broiler, stove and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist in setting up buffet and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with servers and teammates to ensure timely service.
