Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards per server requests.
• Start items prepared ahead of time and manage portion sizes.
• Date and rotate perishables, maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use, manage shortages and keep buffet stocked.
• Return unused items to storage with date and cover perishables.
• Assist in planning to correct food cost problems and reduce waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixer, oven, etc.).
• Be reliable and available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
