HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cook 2 for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. This role prepares food to standard recipes and supports the kitchen across grill, sauté, broil, and raw bar stations.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and standards.
• Start foods prepared ahead of time to avoid over/under prep.
• Date and rotate perishables; keep at proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use and assist with line setup.
• Set up plans to correct food cost problems and reduce waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
