Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Dual Executive Housekeeper for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort in Virginia Beach, VA. The role leads housekeeping across guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house, and pool areas, with responsibility for staffing, training, and budget adherence.

The position requires 5+ years in management with 3+ years in housekeeping leadership, strong operations knowledge, and the ability to supervise multiple tasks while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping operations, multiple brands preferred.
• Able to resolve guest, supervisor, and associate conflicts.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Oversee pool operations and overnight floor care as applicable.
• Manage the housekeeping budget within directorate controls.
• Conduct regular inventories of guest supplies and small equipment.
• Use labor tools to schedule and control costs and forecast occupancy/events.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, evaluate, and discipline staff when needed.
• Monitor guest service scores and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Evaluate furniture, fixtures, and decor for rehab recommendations.
• Perform hands-on housekeeping duties when required.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Report performance, budget status, and staffing to the Director of Services.
