Job summary

Embassy Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and uphold the hotel’s high cleanliness standards. You will train staff, monitor turndown service and public areas, and ensure guest rooms meet the property’s expectations.

The role involves assigning tasks, managing supplies, handling guest requests, and enforcing safety procedures to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to move throughout the building and assist staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff with training, coaching and feedback.
• Inspect guest rooms, turndown service, public areas for cleanliness.
• Assign tasks and manage supplies to control inventory and expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and problems to ensure satisfaction.
• Support safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
