Job summary

Jobot is seeking a logistics leader in Houston to oversee inbound/outbound shipments, internal transfers, and freight across multiple warehouses. You will manage department financials, staffing, inventory quality, and on-time delivery, leading a collaborative team focused on cost control and service excellence.

Ideal candidates have ocean imports experience, strong data analysis skills, and a track record in contract negotiation and 3PL coordination. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics staff and daily operations for on-time delivery and cost control.
• Manage logistics and inventory across 3rd-party warehouses and ensure CBP compliance.
• Lead RFP/RFI/RFQ processes for transportation and 3PL services.
• Maintain HTS codes and duty/tariff rates in SAP.
• Provide forecasts and financial data to support logistics planning.
