Job summary

Confidential in Houston seeks an experienced Domestic Logistics Manager to lead day-to-day domestic shipping for major retail accounts. You will oversee logistics coordinators, coordinate with carriers and warehouses, and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.

You will manage both individual accounts and a small team, driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with retailer requirements, and optimizing routes and costs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in domestic logistics, transportation management, or supply chain ops.
• Proven ability to multitask across accounts and teams.
• Strong management experience in specialized domestic logistics.
• Experience with FTL and LTL shipments, carrier selection, and routing.
• Experience supervising logistics teams.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily domestic retail accounts and ensure on-time shipment execution.
• Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and warehouses to optimize routing and costs.
• Monitor orders, delays, and compliance issues; communicate with sales teams.
• Ensure accurate data entry in the logistics management system and issue ASNs.
• Close and invoice orders daily after shipment confirmation.
• Lead and develop a team of Domestic Logistics Coordinators.
