Responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the ocean import department
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies
• Supervise a team of ocean import freight forwarders
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of shipments
• Resolve issues related to customs, documentation, and shipment delays
• Coordinate with the ocean carrier, trucking companies, and other service providers
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the company’s transportation management system
• Provide guidance and training to team members on import regulations and procedures
• Prepare reports and metrics related to import operations
