DSV Air & Sea Inc. is hiring a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import in Torrance, CA to manage ocean import operations from carrier bookings to customs clearance and delivery.

You will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely, compliant delivery of goods and maintain clear updates for customers. The role requires experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with emphasis on ocean imports and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in ocean imports is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• Manage relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
